DriveLibrary 1.1.0 Release Notes
August 2018

DriveLibrary is a motion control API for controlling DigiFlex Performance servo drives over RS232 or CAN. This release of DriveLibrary focuses on simple single-axis moves, and allows some configuration of drive parameters.

DriveLibrary applications are written and developed in C++. Users should be familiar with the C++ language in order to properly develop motion control applications with DriveLibrary.

  • Support for Ethernet network protocol
  • Support for RS485 network protocol
  • Added support for configuration of certain drive parameters: PID Values, drive Limits, Gain Set switching, Configuration switching
  • Supports download of DriveWare project files to a drive through DriveLibrary

    Known Issues
  • Multi-axis systems are not supported in this release.
  • DriveLibrary uses a fixed PVT step size of 50ms, therefore very high acceleration moves may not respond as expected.
